dosent work waste of money

This app doesnt work. Waste of money so far

On the beginning one year ago worked fine.. Now days the app crashing during translation. Will not recommend.

I had a donation for this app because it has a quality to please me. But after donation, there still pop up the message for donation whenever I open it. Any trick it has? Disappointed.

Rip off!! Only translates a few words

If you added the ability to copy and paste words it be even better.

The font size used for the input text is way too small, almost unreadable to my older eyes. And theres STILL no way to scale it up. This is barely understandable on the cramped iphone screen but on an ipad it looks ridiculous. Why not just change the default point size?

The bigger font is nice but you need to add that to when we type out what we want to translate as well. Also add a save option for the size of the font cause its really annoying having to redo the font size every time. Besides that good app. Add that option and change to 5 stars!

This is a neat little program that works well I have checked accuracy for a number of languages, including Spanish, Portuguese, Greek, Chinese, Dutch and Japanese. You have to be careful to use straight forward language and avoid colloqiual terms. With this in mind, it works great. I wouldnt write a book with it, but for messages that go into texts and e-mails, or for showing a taxi driver in Beijing where you want to go, it is outstanding.

All the benefits of Google translation, plus a history you can edit, email and copy, and a translated web browser with full screen and original page version capabilities. Great for learning language and correspondence. Instantly earned a place in the dock of my iPad.

A 50 language translator and you havent used it yet? Dont bother with reviews. Just get it. This app will change the world in unbelievable ways. Imagine being anywhere with anyone and being able to communicate. What an amazing ability! It can speak most of the languages as well so the person you are talking to doesnt even have to read. A great improvement in the future would be voice input. An Internet connection is needed for the translation (Google). Yes, there are problems with the app itself and various platforms. That just means there is room for improvement and competition. I did not do a thorough test and I am no linguist. I simply took some text (Gettysburg address) and translated it back and forth English->German->French->Dutch->Spanish->English, etc. The translations all worked very well. Some idioms failed, but the text was completely readable at the end. If you really dont believe it, try the free version first. Then I recommend the upgrade to remove ads and support the future efforts of development.

I use this app mainly for Spanish or Tagalog to English. I have a few Spanish to English dictionaries and this one just blows them all out of the water. You can put in an entire paragraph and it translates it all perfectly. I wasted a lot of money on dictionaries that translate just Spanish to English, including ones that are pretty expensive when I could have saved a lot of money just getting this one. Do yourselves a favor and get this one. The English-Tagalog is great too. My wife is Filipina and learning English and this app is a great help.

There are five languages that I speak with relatives across the wild blue.. This App has been quite helpful while emailing, and I only ask one thing from the developer - add send to text - I text more than email. Can you hear me?

I like the app but unfortunately the sound stopped working after awhile. I put in a ticket on their support page which claims to try to answer all tickets within 24 hours ... still waiting!!

Purchased for sound translations. NO SOUND. Filed two tickets and have not received a response. Bought for sound. I have other translators. Very disappointing.

This app looks good but doesnt work at all not sure what the problem, wouldnt recommend Im trying to get my $$$ back hopefully its possible. Buyers beware!!!

Love this app! Only complaint is that the Spanish translator goes by the proper Spanish language. Unfortunately some of the words are different than the Mexican version. Otherwise, this is a great great app!

It does not translate well, i cannot even understand what some english words mean in my native language. Bad app, cannot recommend anybody.

I can remember as a child, the days when the computing power that I hold in my hands in a now antiquated iPad 1 was housed in buildings the size of jet airliner hangars and weighed more that the aircraft. Arent we spoiled these days? So anxious with the future that we cant learn from the past, not to mention remember it. Back on topic: this is not a human translator educated to the dialects and idiosyncrasies of all verbal languages. It is an extremely efficient binary based algorithm which does translation. The word is that the next Siri by apple will get even closer, especially with oriental another extremely complex languages. If you use it that much maybe you should learn the language or have we dropped to a level where we cant convey thoughts without a computer? Dealing with flaws and inadequacies is part of life.
